What Are Pipe Junction Liners?

Depending on the design of your system, the number of junction points can vary from none to several. These junction points often are exposed to a higher amount of wear and tear as they redirect water and waste into their designated channels. It’s common for these junctions to become damaged while the rest of the system is functional. At Canberra Pipe Relining, we offer pipe junction liner services to repair junctions without compromising your entire system. By relining these parts, the rest of your system remains functional, and any damaged or cracked parts of the junction remain on the outside of the pipe.

How Are They Installed?

When you contact us, a member of our team will be dispatched to your location to assess your system and the issue you’re experiencing. After diagnosing the problem, our technician can determine if you need a new junction liner or not.

1. Measurement
Your technician will begin by measuring the area of your junction and assessing how much liner your problem needs. Your technician may need to use a camera to fully scope out the area that requires repair.
2. Installation
Similar to inversion pipe relining, your technician will insert a felt liner with a bladder inside. They will then pump our resin solution into the liner which the felt will absorb. The bladder will then be inflated, pressing the liner to the edges of your junction.
3. Removal
Once the resin has cured, your technician will deflate the bladder and remove it from the junction. They will then assess and test your system to ensure any problems are resolved and your system is in working order.

When faced with needing a repair, it’s best to trust the professionals. Contact us to book your next service today.

I arrived at my townhouse on a Friday afternoon at about 1:30 after a week away to find that the hot water service had sprung a leak during my absence. I called Water Tight and a representative (Tom) was here within an hour. After an inspection and quotation Tom undertook to replace the HWS that day and did so with two other members of staff. I was very favourably impressed with the prompt and efficient service. I would recommend Water Tight to anyone with an urgent plumbing problem.

We have been chasing a plumber for months in Canberra, when today we saw Water tight in their van at a neighbor. One call and the wonderful receptionist organised for Aaron to come over in his Lunch and fix our major shower blockage. What can I say, OMG!!! This is service, Aaron would not settle for anything less than perfection. Pulled the shower apart, explained in detail to me everything that was happening and found the annoying problem. A old piece of plastic off the washer stuck in the pipe. He even gave me great advice on our toilet issues and over pressure issues. Unbelievable service, more intent on fixing the problem and doing it right than ripping us off. I wholeheartedly recommend Water Tight Canberra and especially Aaron as the no 1 plumbing service in Australia.
